Adrian Iaslau, one of Bucharest most notorious barista, especially known for his latte art skills, opened Onest Coffee in 2020, literally in front of the TVR building. I'll be onest with you, the coffee tastes delicious, the shop definitely has a nice vibe to it, and top it up, they manage to set up quite a large space outside to drink your coffee enjoying the fresh air. Onest belongs to this group of recently emerged "former-garage-turned-coffee-shop". If you take a closer look at the recent developments in town, especially in the northern part, you'll be surprised to find more and more of those good ideas. Let's face it, Bucharest holds way too many cars. It makes me happy each time I hear that a piece of land has been conquered back by humans, or as we call them in the transportation war: pedestrians.
