Romanian Athenaeum

shareclose

Before rolling your eyes, you should know that this amazing historical place is considered to be the most beautiful concert venue in Eastern Europe. Here, events ranging from big classical music festivals, conferences or charity events, recitals and symphonic concerts happen very often, making it a hot pick for romantic Tinder dates or chill evenings after work. Small bragging: I had the opportunity to give a small piano recital there, which could explain my attachement to the building... A little insider's secret I'll give to you is that students enter for free at concerts, but you'll have to find your own seat (not on someone's lap). Check out the shop downstairs, take a free tour and see the paintings and the remarkable French neoclassical and eclectic architecture artwork.
