Barka Saffron

Many good memories I hold dear in this rather odd-looking building, located in an area where those kind of places are quite rare. The feeling is, as us french say, kind of "à l'arrache", which makes it even more lively. I'm not using the french here for no reasons, as it's one of the place that reminds me most of some of the bars I used to hang out in Paris, at least in terms of design and atmosphere. Maybe that's why you can bump into a few french expats there. Surprisingly enough as this place is centered around... Indian food. And at this chapter, let me tell you they do it pretty well: I never regretted coming for dinner. Simple, tasty, efficient. So, indian food check, what else... Ah yes, craft beer! One of the first place I had the chance to enjoy Sikaru's delicious craft beers (once again brewed by a french man... what is going on here?). To conclude, no pressure my friend, may you want to have dinner, or just chill with a few beers, this place is always a good bet when you're in the neighborhood. Many years have passed but this landmark is still standing, as it has been open for more than a decade... I'll raise my beer to many more years!
